Certainly you have a chance to buy a new mobile phone and someone tells you that before you use it for the first time, it is recommended that you charge the battery all night or for more than six hours.

However, this is a myth that needs to be broken since today’s handsets do not need to be filled for hours before their first use, unless their battery originally is 2-3 percent – so in this case it is recommended fill up to 100% and then use it, broadcasts.

The recommendations that the cell battery should be charged for hours are from the time when NiMH batteries were in use, which had certain requirements pertaining to charging / discharging cycles, but those recommendations do not apply to Lithium batteries today.

Apple’s interesting fact is worth mentioning – Steve Jobs noted a tremendous disappointment with consumers who bought a new amazing device but had to wait a few hours to charge the battery before to use it.

Apple has since then filled the batteries of its own equipment at the factory, enabling consumers to use the device at the time they bought it.
